Can Adguard be an alternative to uBlock Origin? The reason for that is that AdGuard works outside of the browser and controls everything, even things that the browser does not want the extensions to see. I have to use Firefox on my phone as Android Chrome does not allow extensions, and using a browser with no blocker is an absolute no-no as far as I'm concerned! The problem with AdGuard is that they charge for system-wide blocking which can be done for free with a hosts file or pi-hole. Browser extensions simply don't deal with all that stuff and thus any extension, unless it's really poorly written, is not slower.
